Nikyema Billa Alamzy, Member of Parliament for Chiana-Paga, has drawn attention to the pressing infrastructure challenges in his constituency, emphasising the absence of a single tarred road.
Speaking on ‘s Eyewitness News on Wednesday April 9, Alamzy described Chiana-Paga as a vast and unique constituency that shares borders with multiple districts and even an international boundary with Burkina Faso.
“My constituency, we have a lot to lobby for. I am running a constituency that is so unique, so large,” Alamzy stated.
He highlighted the borders Chiana-Paga shares with Sisala East, Builsa North, Navrongo Central, Bolga Central, Bongo, and Burkina Faso, underscoring the strategic importance of the area.
Despite this, he lamented, “I cannot boast or we cannot boast of a single tarred road in the whole constituency.”
