DAZN were forced to swiftly apologise after Cole Palmer turned the air Chelsea blue. Palmer had proved he could withstand the New Jersey heat while remaining ice cold as the Blues swept PSG off the park at MetLife Stadium . The Englishman found the back of the net twice and was named the Superior Player of the Match . And when accepting the award, Palmer was asked about Chelsea winning the Club World Cup : "It's a great feeling. Even better because everyone doubted us before the game, we knew that. To put a fight on like we did, it's good. "The gaffer put a great gameplan out. He knew where the space was going to be. He tried to free me up as much as possible and I just had to repay him and score some goals. "He is building something special, something important. Everyone has been talking a lot of s*** about us all season, but we are heading in the right direction." DAZN quickly apologised for the X-rated language as Palmer returned to celebrate with his team-mates. However, celebrations could only start after tensions had cooled on the pitch - with some ugly scenes towards the end of the match overshadowing the spectacle on the pitch. It started with Joao Neves' sending off, after VAR picked up on the midfielder grabbing some locks of Marc Cucurella's hair and tugging him to the ground. Neves had initially escaped punishment before he was handed his marching orders. However, the ugliest of scenes was reserved for after the full-time whistle, when Chelsea's new star striker Joao Pedro was involved in a heated discussion with PSG shot-stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma. Luis Enrique made his way across to the pair when he appeared to strike Pedro, who went tumbling to ground. Players from both sides pilled in as Enrique was led away.
