For the fight card that saw Katie Taylor co-headline with Amanda Serrano in Texas along with Jake Paul and Mike Tyson last November, Netflix is reputed to have added some 1.43 million subscribers over a three-day period.
The numbers gathered by Antenna Data, which provides measurements for the subscription economy, put the event only behind the Super Bowl and an NFL Wild Card game, shown by Paramount and Peacock, and the Paris Olympics (Peacock) throughout 2024 in terms of ‘acquisition’.
