Comic-Con International starts Wednesday, July 23, at the San Diego Convention Center with a preview night that helps attendees get badges early and avoid long lines the next day.
The Wednesday schedule is typically light with few events, but is mainly a way for people to pick up badges without gigantic lines on Thursday and Friday. It also is a chance to see the convention floor early but, in the last two years, has been just as packed as the other days. It used to be a chance to see the convention without massive crowds — but the word must have got out.
The Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina will also be playing previously released movies for much of the night, including “Captain America: Brave New World.”
Other events can be added closer to the start of the convention and will be updated here.
Here are the official descriptions, courtesy of the folks at Comic-Con.
