Dylan Wilson faced the judge in court (Picture: ITV) Dylan Wilson’s (Liam McCheyne) fate was finally decided in tonight’s Coronation Street as he was sent to the STC for six months. Dylan was facing charges for possessing a bladed article, after bringing a zombie knife to a fight in January. The teen thought he was protecting friend Mason Radcliffe from his brothers, but when Logan Radcliffe grabbed the knife things took a horrifying turn as he used it to stab Mason. When Mason died of his injuries, Dylan was arrested for his involvement in the fight, and eventually decided to plead guilty. In tonight’s episode, Dylan stood before the judge and insisted that he didn’t want anyone to get hurt, especially not his friend Mason. Attempting to prove that he meant no harm, Dylan explained how he just wanted to scare Logan and Matty off. With Dylan having potentially made things worse for himself, all he and dad Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) could do was wait for the judge to call them back in. Thankfully, the CPS declared that there wasn’t enough evidence to change the charges against Dylan, so the judge went ahead with sentencing him. She explained that his age allowed her to give him a custodial sentence of at least four months, but because of his previous knife-related charges, she was sentencing him to nine months. Sean Tully thought the sentence was too harsh (Picture: ITV) However, because he pleaded guilty, this reduced his sentence to six months. This seemed like far too long for Sean, who begged solicitor Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) to help him get the sentence overturned, but to no avail. With no other choice, Dylan headed to the STC to serve his sentence, and he immediately faced trouble from his fellow inmates. Will he be able to cope?
