Danny O’Carroll has reunited with his dad Brendan in Florida after the finals of Dancing With The Stars.
The actor made it all the way to the last episode of the competition with his dance partner Salome Chachua, before Olympic gold medallist Rhys McClenaghan won.
After months of training and competing, the Mrs Brown’s Boys star is enjoying some well-deserved family life with dad Brendan.

Danny is soaking up the sun in Florida, where his father lives, and shared a snap of himself and Brendan golfing.
He captioned the picture with several love heart emojis.
His followers loved seeing him relaxing after Dancing With The Stars and spending time with Brendan.
One person wrote: “Lovely picture of you both. Nothing better than family time.”
A second commenter shared: “Aww that is a really nice, smashing and lovely picture of you and your dad Brendan O'Carroll there Danny. Ahh nice picture there mate.”
A third commenter added: “Never mind the golf, tell him. There is sod all on the tv over here, and he needs to get crackin.”
With another follower writing: “Like father like son two messers”.
Danny previously admitted that he had seriously struggled being away from his partner Tina and his two sons.
They remained at home in Donegal while Danny trained in Dublin and performed the live Dancing with the Stars shows each Sunday night.
“This was the hardest thing I’ve ever done”, he told RSVP. “I knew it was going to be tough coming into this. I was told before I came in from previous people that have done it how tough it was, but I didn't take into account that I wouldn’t get home. That was the toughest thing.”
“I nearly gave up a couple times. I just missed everything at home, “ he admitted. “And I was the only one there that didn’t get to go home to their families every night. So because they were gone from me, it's just been really tough.”
The actor nearly quit several times, when missing Tina and the boys got too much, but that they always pushed him to carry on and stay.
“As much as I’ve found it hard being away from them, being down here, they also struggled back in Donegal and they missed me”, he said. “But they were pushing me so much to keep going when I needed it.”
“I think I've realised how much I need people around me and how much I need my family”, said Danny speaking about how the RTE show has changed him.
“I'm so used to working with my family and I've done this without them all. Being really isolated from everybody has been tough.”
“It’s hard to explain, when you got through every week., it's the most amazing feeling. But then you realise you're not getting home again, and you have to go through the whole process of learning a new dance again. But when it's done, it's the most amazing euphoria that you've done the dance and you did it well. It’s really an emotional rollercoaster.”
