David Beckham is on the mend. On Friday, June 27, the Inter Miami CF co-owner and former soccer player, 50, was snapped with his arm in a blue sling while lying in a hospital bed. Sharing the photo on her Instagram Stories, David’s wife Victoria Beckham sent her well-wishes to her husband, who appeared to be recovering from an injury. “Get well soon daddy,” the fashion designer and former Spice Girls singer, 51, wrote in her caption alongside a love heart emoji. In the snap, David sported a hospital gown as he smiled at the camera amid his recovery. A representative for David did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment. Victoria also shared another photo of David holding a friendship bracelet with letters on beads that read, “Get well soon." The shot appeared to have been taken out of the hospital. The pair didn’t give any more details into the reason for David’s hospital stay, which comes after it was announced the soccer legend is set to be knighted by King Charles. The honor, which was announced earlier this month, will see David become Sir David Beckham, while Victoria will be addressed as Lady Beckham. "You’ve always been my knight in shining armour, but now it’s official. Sir @davidbeckham!!! What an honour, I couldn’t be prouder of you," Victoria shared in an Instagram post.
