David Jason fans have been left stunned after finding out the Only Fools and Horses icon has a famous brother.
Del Boy star, David, 85, who was born David John White, is one of the UK's most well-known faces having played the loveable market stall trader from Peckham in the BBC classic sitcom for years. However, he's not the only actor in his family.
The star has an older brother, Arthur White, 91, who starred alongside his sibling as PC Ernie Trigg in ITV detective drama A Touch of Frost in which David plays the titular role.
Arthur also appeared briefly along with his brother in two episodes of The Darling Buds of May back in 1991. And in 2008, he worked with David again on the comic fantasy The Colour of Magic.
He also played Gary Sparrow alongside David's co-star, Nicholas Lyndhurst, in Goodnight Sweetheart. As Only Fools fans will know, Nicholas played Del's long-suffering younger brother, Rodney Trotter in the iconic BBC sitcom.
From 1995 to 2001, Arthur starred in the ITV series London's Burning playing the role as Derek, before appearing in Heartbeart portraying the role of Albert Fogerty. He also has made an appearance in Holby City in 2016 when he played the part of Sidney Bickton.
His other television credits include include Doctors, Family Affairs Grange Hill, The Professionals and many more roles dating back to the 1950s.
More recently, Arthur featured in 13 Hours That Saved Britain, a documentary , which lifts the lid on the events of the Battle of Britain.
Despite starring in other huge shows, including Open All Hours and A Touch of Frost, Arthur's brother, David, will always be synonymous with Only Fools and Horses.
The epic sitcom is a British staple and made overnight successes out of David and Nicholas. However, the Del Boy star recently revealed he was 'haunted' by the "ghost" of wheeler dealer, Derek.
The actor reflected on his career during a candid chat on BBC Breakfast with host Jon Kay in October. In a sad admission, David said he felt that the character of Del had overshadowed his other work.
Reflecting on the role, he shared his "only regret" when it comes to Only Fools and Horses is that he feels haunted by the character, much like A Christmas Carol.
Jon pointed out: "That sense of positivity sounds very like a certain Derek Trotter." And David admitted: "Yeah, I'm afraid it does. That Derek Trotter thing, he's a bit of a ghost that comes along behind me like A Christmas Carol."
Expressing a slight frustration that despite his varied career, most people remember him solely for his portrayal of Trotter, he mused: "[It] only hangs me back, only upsets me slightly is because that seems to be the only thing that people remember me for."
