BANGALORE /India/ February 10. /TASS/. The design and maneuverability of Russia's fifth-generation Su-57E multifunctional fighter jet, along with the impressive skills of its pilot, Hero of Russia Sergey Bogdan, captivated visitors and exhibitors at the Aero India 2025 international aerospace exhibition, a TASS correspondent reports.
"The design of the aircraft and its ability to quickly gain speed and altitude are unparalleled," visitor Ravindra Kumar told TASS. Some moments of the Su-57E's flight were "breathtaking." "I was especially impressed when the fighter hovered in the sky while performing maneuvers. It seems to defy all the laws of physics. Unbelievable!" he added.
"It was a mesmerizing sight. I knew Russian pilots were capable of great things, but not to this extent," admitted another guest, Nitesh Ali, after seeing the Su-57E in action. "This machine is designed for air supremacy."
The Su-57E multirole fighter jet performed its maiden flight at Aero India 2025 on Monday, soaring for approximately ten minutes. More demonstration sorties are scheduled for Tuesday.
The Su-57 is the world's only fifth-generation fighter aircraft that has proven its effectiveness in real combat conditions against Western air defense systems. The aircraft is capable of deploying a wide range of guided high accuracy weapons and is distinguished by low visibility to enemy radars.
