Italian fashion designer Donatella, 69, shared a precious photo of Lucy walking the runway at a glamorous show and captioned it with some heartbreaking words. 'I am so sorry to hear about Lucy. Rest in peace, beautiful girl,' Donatella wrote and added a white dove emoji. Fashion model Cartia Mallan also shared a tribute to Lucy, writing: 'Heartbroken to say the least. My beautiful friend Lucy sadly passed today after putting up a strong fight. 'I can't even put into words how kind, radiant and caring she was as a human. Not to mention how insanely beautiful and talented she was. 'All my love to her family during this time. I can't even fathom this, she was so young. Deeply blessed to have known her. Rest in peace my angel girl.' Lucy, who was runner up on season 9 of the reality TV series, had a brain arteriovenous malformation (AVM) and had to undergo emergency surgery before she went into a coma earlier this week. AVMs are abnormal tangles of blood vessels which can cause irregular connections between the arteries and veins - which often develop in the spinal cord and brain. Lucy was only 17 years old when she competed on Australia's Next Top Model, beating hundreds of other hopefuls to make it through to the grand final against fellow contestant Brittany Beattie.
