India head coach Gautam Gambhir lashed out at Oval head groundsman Lee Fortis ahead of the fifth Test. Gambhir was livid at Fortis and said, "don't tell us what to do". Reportedly, Gambhir was unhappy with the facilities provided to Team India at the Kennington Oval, and the behaviour of Lee left him furious. Lee is not new to controversies and created drama during one of India women's match at the Oval. The video has gone viral on social media, drawing reactions from the cricket fraternity. India are set to play England in the fifth Test at the Oval in London from July 31. Complaint Filed Against GambhirWhile an official confirmation is awaited, the Oval Groundsmen have reportedly lodged a complaint to the ECB against Gautam Gambhir for his behaviour, and the BCCI has also responded with batting coach Sitanshu Kotak and the logistic officer expressing their disagreement to the board. The England-India series has been a spicy affair with players getting involved in heated exchanges. During the Lord's Test, India captain Shubman Gill lost cool at Zak Crawley after he deliberately wasted time to avoid an extra over, and when Gill came out to bat the next day, the England team returned the favour. Similarly, tempers flared after Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar refused Ben Stokes' request to draw the Test in the last hour, following which the England players got involved in a war of words with Indian players. Gambhir Under PressureThe Oval Test will be a must-win for India. The Shubman-Gill-led side did well to draw the fourth Test in Manchester and keep the series alive. If they win in London, the series will be drawn 2-2. Gautam Gambhir is also under pressure to deliver after losing the series to New Zealand and Australia, and the team's performance in England hasn't been great either. The management has also been blasted for some shocking selection calls, including Kuldeep Yadav's exclusion from the playing XI.
