Dozens killed after Israeli attack on school used as shelter in Gaza – video report
An Israeli strike on a school housing displaced people in Gaza has killed at least 33 people and injured more than 50, after the building was struck as people slept, igniting their belongings, according to local health officials. Medics said the dozens of casualties in the strike on the school, in the Daraj neighbourhood of Gaza City, included children. The Israeli military said Israeli forces struck a Hamas control centre overnight in Gaza. Despite mounting international pressure that pushed Israel to lift a blockade on aid supplies in the face of warnings of looming famine, the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said last week that Israel would control the whole of Gaza
