PNGRFL putting steps in place to implement coaching courses, obtain equipment and to assist leagues
STAFF from the PNG Rugby Football League are working closely with volunteers and executives from Schools Rugby League across the National Capital District, Lae, Goroka, Mount Hagen and Rabaul.
These meetings are being held in order to identify key areas where the PNGRFL can assist and aid the Leagues in areas where they most need.
Conversations so far have identified a few key areas for improvement namely coaching, equipment and compliance.
The PNGRFL is putting steps in place to implement coaching courses, obtain equipment and assist Leagues with their compliance and accreditation.
The PNGRFL will continue to visit the five regions at various times throughout the year, to continue to assist and implement the above changes. The PNGRFL would like to thank all executives, volunteers and coordinators with their assistance during this time and their willingness to commit to the processes that will improve schoolboys and schoolgirls football across the country looking towards 2028.
