Drunk man singing Elvis songs has witnesses all shook up: Olmsted Falls blotter

OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio Intoxicated person: Main Street On April 9, a caller reported that a drunk man was urinating in the pavilion at Plum Creek Park and singing Elvis tunes. Four men were located fishing in the river, but they were not associated with the suspect. Police located the man and cited him for disorderly conduct-intoxication and having alcohol in the park. Suspicious vehicle: Chandlers Lane A citizen reported a suspicious minivan parked in the grass behind the garages of an apartment complex on April 5. Police located the van and requested a squad to check on a pregnant woman. The van’s occupants were told that they might need to make restitution to the property owner for damaging the lawn. Two methamphetamine pipes and marijuana were located in the van. Traffic stop: John Road On April 5, police initiated a traffic stop and the K-9 alerted to the rear driver’s-side door. A glass vial of suspected narcotics was found in the vehicle and was sent for testing. Intoxicated person: Columbia Road A motorist at Speedway reported a man, possibly drunk, throwing up in the garbage can on April 6. She was concerned for his welfare. Neighbor problem: Briarpatch Drive On April 5, a caller reported finding numerous golf balls in his and his neighbor’s yard. He didn’t know where they were coming from, but was concerned that the balls could hit his windows. He requested a check of the area, but no one was located. Assault: Lynway Avenue On April 8, a woman reported that her sister had called her to tell her that her roommate was yelling at and hitting her and that she thought the roommate was on drugs. The two people were separated. About five hours later, the person who left came back and was locked out. They agreed again to separate for the night.
