Dublin All-Ireland winning captain and former manager Sean Doherty passes away aged 78

FORMER Dublin captain Seán Doherty has passed away aged 78.
The Wicklow born full-back captained Dublin to an All-Ireland win in 1974.
The Ballyboden Wanderers star won five leinster titles, two National League and three All-Irelands for the Dubs.
Doherty also served as a joint-manager of the senior team in 1989 alongside Gerry McCaul and Tony Hempenstall.
