Reaffirms commitment to a reformed and secure Anambra
From Aloysius Attah, Onitsha
Governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in the forthcoming 2025 Anambra State election, Chief Paul Chukwuma, has extended his warm felicitations to the good people of Anambra State on this year’s Easter celebration, describing the season as a sacred period of reflection, renewal, and collective hope.
Chukwuma; a ranking member of the Ancient and Noble Order of the Catholic Knights of St. John International, in his Easter message, drew attention to the profound symbolism of Jesus’s resurrection, which, according to him, represents the triumph of light over darkness, resilience over despair, and the promise of a new dawn.
Continuing, the YPP governorship candidate urged Ndi Anambra to draw strength from the season’s message and remain united in pursuit of a more just, peaceful, and prosperous society even in the face of daunting challenges, as Easter signifies that darkness is temporal because light ultimately prevails.
The YPP flag-bearer reiterated his firm commitment to dismantling entrenched policies and systems that have, for years, impeded the economic advancement of the state, emphasizing that his administration would be marked by bold reforms tailored toward stimulating local enterprise, attracting investment, and expanding economic opportunities across all strata of society.
He assured that under his leadership, Anambra’s interests would be vigorously defended and strategically represented at the federal level, ensuring that Anambra secures its rightful place in the national agenda.
Chukwuma, Pro-Chancellor of Olivia University, Burundi renowned for his scholarship and philanthropism further outlined his plans to decisively tackle insecurity in Anambra, emphasising that a secure environment is the bedrock of sustainable development. He further stated that he would institutionalise policies that enhance business development, thereby generating meaningful employment, particularly for the youth, whom he described as the drivers of innovative growth.
