The European Cricket Series heads to Hornchurch in East London for the very first time, as the suburban town is set to host a men’s and a women’s ECS event. The women’s segment of the tour will consist of an exhilarating T10 tri-series between Upminster Women, Hutton Women and Gunnersbury Women.As many as nine matches will be played in the series spanning two different dates, Saturday, June 7, and Saturday, June 14. All matches will be hosted by the Harrow Lodge Park in Hornchurch. As per the ECN website, the series will bring together top local and regional talent. The matches will be played in the fast-paced T10 format.Each team will face each other thrice in a triple round-robin format. No final has been allotted to the tri-series, and the team with most points at the end of the nine-match competition will be declared as the winner.Players like Angela Green and teenage wicketkeeper-batter Beth Libby will be headlining Upminster’s 19-player group.
