Super Eagles defender Ola Aina was full of admiration for his Nottingham Forest teammate Anthony Elanga after his fantastic display against his former club Manchester United.
Nottingham Forest’s Anthony Elanga turned Manchester United’s dreams into a nightmare with a stunning man-of-the-match performance, and no one was more thrilled than his teammate, Super Eagles defender Ola Aina.
Elanga’s fifth-minute wonder strike clinched a gritty 1-0 Premier League win for Forest, completing a league double over his former club, and Aina couldn’t contain his excitement, showering the winger with praise in a jubilant post-match moment.

“Anthony, you are a bad boy, a bad boy, against United—do you have anything to say?” Aina asked on Snapchat, grinning as he turned to Elanga, who held the man of the match award.
The cool-headed Swede shook his head and replied, “Unto the next game,” already shifting focus to the challenges ahead.
But Aina, buzzing from the victory despite his early exit due to a 39th-minute injury, wasn’t letting the moment pass quietly.
“Come like a nightmare, brother, a nightmare. You’re a bad dream for them—he’s a bad dream for them, man of the match,” he declared, his admiration spilling over.
Aina’s reaction echoed his earlier Snapchat celebration, where he’d screamed “One nil!” and captioned a video “Job done,” hailing the team’s effort.
“Some tired bodies out there, but we got the job done, that’s what I’m talking about lads,” he’d said, still riding the high of Forest’s triumph.
For Aina, Elanga’s haunting display against United was the perfect encore to a hard-fought win, cementing the winger’s status as United’s tormentor and Forest’s hero.
As the City Ground faithful roared, Aina’s words captured the mood: this was a victory to savor, driven by a “bad dream” from which United, who made Elanga, couldn’t wake up from.
