(Picture: Rex) Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus have sparked speculation of a surprise relationship after sharing a kissing photo over the Easter weekend. The 59-year-old British model and actress and country star Cyrus, 63, raised eyebrows after posting a picture together on Instagram with a decidedly romantic vibe. Posing together leaning on a fence in a grassy field, Hurley wore jeans, a blue checked shirt and a straw cowboy hat and gave her cheek to Cyrus, who kissed it gently while keeping his face close. The musician was also dressed casually in striped baggy trousers and a denim shirt, with green novelty bunny ears on a headband holding back his long hair. ‘Happy Easter ♥️,’ wrote Austin Powers actress Hurley in the caption – and fans and friends alike rushed to comment. ‘Happy Easter, my darling. I hope you’re having the best time 😘,’ commented close pal Trinny Woodall in a reply that Hurley liked, while son Damian’s response was also acknowledged by her after he posted a heart and celebration emoji. (Picture: Instagram/@elizabethhurley1/@billyraycyrus) ‘Mystery Bunny 🐰,’ wrote makeup artist and friend Sandy Linter, and stylist Ann Caruso added: ‘Awe! Billy Ray Bunny 🐰! Happy Easter!’ These were also comments Hurley responded to with a tap on the heart emoji, but others were left quite shocked by Hurley’s new possible romance with the Achy Breaky Heart hitmaker. ‘Oh 😕 who else totally did not have this one on their 2025 bingo card?’ asked Heather Morris, as Brittany Rodriguez shared: ‘How many of us were all like WAIT WHAT when we opening [[sic] the app and saw this?!!🙋🏼‍♀️ Did not see this one coming.’ Little House on the Prairie star Melissa Gilbert seemed equally baffled as she wrote, ‘Wait… what?’ next to the photo – and promptly garnered 690 likes. (Picture: Stotzel/Schneider-Press/SIPA/Rex/Shutterstock) ‘I literally came to say the exact same thing, Melissa! Same exact words. 🤣’ replied Lisa Goich. ‘I’m so confused….is this a hack?!!’ chimed in @voneapril. However, the connection between the possible new couple is not as random as it first seems, with Hurley and Cyrus co-starring in the 2022 film Christmas in Paradise. They appeared opposite Frasier star Kelsey Grammer, and played potential love interests in the movie. The Bedazzled actress also appeared to drop a hint when she shared a clip in a bikini from a tropical beach, set to Cyrus’s She’s Not Cryin’ Anymore. (Picture: Lionsgate) (Picture: Lionsgate) ‘The most glorious sunset in the glorious Maldives 💗,’ Hurley added for the caption. Neither star has yet spoken out to confirm the romance, but it would be the first for Cyrus since his divorce from Firerose, thought to be aged 36. Cyrus and the Australian singer-songwriter tied the knot in October 2023, only to separate seven months later and finalise their divorce in August. He was also previously married to Cindy Smith from 1986 to 1991, and Tish Cyrus from 1993 to 2022, with whom he shares five kids including Grammy-winning pop star Miley Cyrus, 32. They had previously filed for divorce twice before – in 2010 and 2013 – before reconciling on both occasions. (Picture: AFF-USA/Rex/Shutterstock) Cyrus also has son Christopher, 33, from a former relationship with Kristin Luckey. Hurley was married to Indian entrepreneur and businessman Arun Nayar from 2007 to 2010, and shared son Damian, 23, with late American businessman Steve Bing. She also had high-profile relationships with actor Hugh Grant – for 13 years – and cricket star Shane Warne, to whom she was engaged between 2011 and 2013 before amicably parting ways ahead of his death aged 52 in March 2022. Warne marked her last public relationship, although Damian shared that they were both dating last year but preferred to keep their relationships out of the public eye. (Picture: Robin L Marshall/FilmMagic) ‘We are seeing people at the moment, but we’re both quite private,’ he confirmed in a joint interview with Hello! magazine published in May 2024. ‘I’ve seen first-hand how devastating relationships in the public eye can become, and we’ve both made a decision that until somebody is incredibly serious, we’re not going to speak publicly about who we’re seeing,’ he added. The mother and son worked together last year on his first feature-length film, Strictly Confidential. Metro has contacted reps for both Hurley and Cyrus for comment. Got a story?
