Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Amadin Desmond Enabulele, has urged state coaches to deliver top-class performances as zonal eliminations of the 2025 National Youth Games draw begin in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Enabulele urged the coaches to demonstrate discipline, unity, and focus in their quest to secure Edo’s qualification in all events at the eliminations stage. Speaking at an interactive session with the coaches, Enabulele said they ‘must be prepared to conquer’. The ESSC boss assured the coaches that Governor Monday Okpebholo would remained committed to supporting their work. “Your unflinching support is essential if we are to clinch all available spots and maintain Edo’s dominance in sports,” he said. “Success is a shared responsibility. I enjoin all of you to match the commission’s support with strong results.” The zonal eliminations will feature Rugby, Volleyball, Handball, Cricket, Hockey, Beach Volleyball, Football, Abula, and Baseball.
