The poster, intended to feature each country's flag over its respective map, presented a controversial depiction of Morocco's borders. Additionally, it annexed substantial areas of western and southwestern Morocco to Algeria. Furthermore, the organizers placed the Polisario flag on the southern part of Morocco. This move aligns with Ethiopia's longstanding recognition of the Polisario's «Republic» since February 24, 1979.
