He was aged 71 at the time of his death. Larkins played 13 Tests and 25 ODIs for England between 1979 and 1991. He scored 498 runs in Tests and 591 runs in ODIs. Overall, he scored just one international century He is a legend at County side Northamptonshire. He scored a whopping 27142 first-class runs in 482 games.
