For the first time in their history of Test cricket, the Indian men’s cricket team are playing a Test match with five left-handed batters in the playing XI. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sai Sudharsan, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, and Washington Sundar are part of India’s playing XI for the fourth Test against England, which kicked off at Old Trafford in Manchester on Wednesday, July 23.
On multiple occasions in the past, India has played a Test match with four lefties in the XI.
