This past week has brought out the best from the cream of the crop across the N.J. girls flag football landscape, especially in the Big Central Conference.

On May 7 in North Brunswick, Elizabeth star sophomore Sanaii Mayers recorded another stellar performance on the gridiron to lead the Minutemen to their ninth win of the season.
Mayers dialed up three touchdown passes and hauled in a nine-yard touchdown pass from Jasiyaa Byron to help Elizabeth win its sixth straight game.
It’s the sixth time this season that Mayers has recorded three or more touchdowns in a game, and she now has 30 total touchdowns this spring.
Colonia’s Rachael Sullivan had a strong week as well. The senior tallied 246 rushing yards and four touchdowns in two games to extend Colonia’s winning streak to four straight games.
Down in the WJFL, Kingsway senior signal caller Ava Valente made noise again throughout the state with her 11 touchdown passes over the last three games, giving her 39 for the season.
