Kearsley was led by Santiago Albiar, who shot a 44. Linden 169, Owosso 189: Landen Watson shot a 40 and finished first as Linden defeated Owosso Thursday night. Linden was also led by Lucas Sensor (41), Andrew Lurvey (43), and William Harris (45). Owosso was led by Eli Fear and Tucker Lewis, who both shot a 45. Iyana Blake netted the other goal for the Bobcats as it improves to 6-2-1 on the season. Bloomfield Hills Roeper 1, Genesee Christian 1 Byron 6, Durand 3 Corunna 2, Flint Carman-Ainsworth 1 Lake Fenton 8, Owosso 1 Otisville LakeVille Memorial 8, Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy 0 Ovid-Elsie 3, Montrose 0 Oxford 3, Goodrich 0 Saginaw Nouvel Catholic Central 7, Flint Kearsley 3 Grand Blanc 15, Flint Carman-Ainsworth 0 & Grand Blanc 16, Flint Carman-Ainsworth 0: Grand Blanc aces Savannah Schultz and Kayla Blumenschein both tossed perfect games as Grand Blanc swept Carman-Ainsworth Thursday night. Schultz tallied 13 strikeouts and had a single, a double, and two RBIs at the plate in game one while Blumenschein had eight strikeouts, a single, a home run, and four RBIs in game two. Ella Stevenson had a single, double, and two RBIs in game one while Skylar Green tallied two hits. Brooke Rhode, Cay’ana Tipton, and Alaina Trotter each tallied two hits in game two. Clio 4, Lake Fenton 0: Addie Taylor paced Clio with a dominating effort on the mound, tossing seven innings with 13 strikeouts. Lacey Gonzalez and Veronica Tate each launched a home run for the Mustangs while Samantha Rinks had two hits and an RBI in the win. Lake Fenton countered with Maddie Stanton, who threw six innings and allowed three runs with five strikeouts. Mia Merrell and Parker Beardsley each collected one hit for the Blue Devils. Lake Fenton 4, Clio 3: Another pitching duel took place between the two Flint Metro League squads with Lake Fenton coming out on top. Parker Beardsley hit a solo home run while Avery Heil and Laureena Baehl each had a hit and an RBI in the win. Leah Meyers opened the game for the Blue Devils with two innings pitched before Avery Stanton finished the game in 4.2 innings of work. Summer Stevens and Payton Malin each had two hits for Clio while Veronica Tate went 4.1 innings with five strikeouts. Addie Taylor added 2.2 innings with three strikeouts. Goodrich 3, Midland 0: Goodrich’s Abby Stefanski went seven innings and struck out four as the Martians picked up the win Thursday night. Jayden Gohs launched a solo home run while Sophie Swanson and Alisyn Raether each had an RBI in the win. Goodrich 11, Midland 1: Goodrich ace Jayden Gohs pitched five innings and tallied nine strikeouts as Goodrich defeated Midland Thursday night. Sophie Swanson and Alisyn Raether each tallied three hits and three RBIs as Goodrich racked up 12 hits as a team in the win. Olivia Bartlett added a triple for Goodrich. Linden 11, Flint Kearsley 0: Kayla Widner and Tessa Zilisch combined for a no-hitter and struck out 10 while Morgan Piotrovsky went 2-3 with two RBIs. Kyla Harding and Hailee Elder both collected their first varsity hits and Faia Varella Corral, an exchange student from Spain, reached base for the first time in her career. Linden 12, Flint Kearsley 0: Kayla Widner went the first three innings for her 10th victory of the season, and she also crossed over the 100-strikeout plateau on the mound. She now carries a 0.30 ERA on the year. Morgan Piotrovsky drove in three runs and set the all-time Linden record for career RBIs at 164. Addi Siegwald led the Eagles with three hits followed by Piotrovsky, Sophia Helm and Zilisch.
