Linden 8, Bay City John Glenn 1 Girls Soccer Flushing 8, Owosso 0: Flushing improved to 9-2 Wednesday night as Kayla Rousseau and Liv Gioventu each tallied a hat trick. Tessa Slogor scored twice while Karsyn Pisha earned the shutout in net. Jaelynn Prior (2), Kayla Rousseau (2), Liv Gioventu, and Alana Babcock all tallied assists in the win. Grand Blanc 3, Mount Pleasant 2: The Bobcats picked up a league win Wednesday night as Anna Weston tallied two goals. Haylee Heise added a score, and Iyana Blake had two assists in the win. Tessa Zilisch threw five innings and struck out eight and Kayla Widner finished the job with two hitless innings and three strikeouts. Mackenzie Jones paced the Flushing offense with three hits and two RBIs while Addisyn Good, Emma Larner, and Taylor Kelley each contributed two hits in the loss. Linden 8, Flushing 2: A three-run shot by Sophia Helm propelled the Eagles to a win in game two. Helm also tossed a complete game with eight strikeouts. Addisyn Good went 2-for-3 with a double and Emerson Bodzick and Makenzie Jones each added a hit for Flushing in the loss. Swartz Creek 6, Corunna 2: The Dragons swept all four singles flights as Autumn Snyder, Savannah Edwards, Marissa Serges, and Amara Hougen each picked up a win.
