Management training and support will be provided with our Human Resources department throughout the course of the landscaping season however the ideal candidate will have had some management experience in a previous position. We are looking for someone interested in a long term position in the landscaping industry. The right candidate will have the following qualities: Positive mindset Extroverted Strong work ethic Healthy communicator Deals with conflict resolution in a calm and respectful manner Trustworthy Good at teaching others Highly organized Efficient problem-solving skills Understands and values accountability Excellent time management skills Duties will include but are not limited to: Project Supervision: Confidently lead a team of landscaping labourers, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and according to established plans and timelines. Transportation: Responsible for driving one of the company trucks to and from sites and transporting team members. Team Management: Confidently and respectfully provide guidance, training, and supervision to team members, ensuring they have the necessary tools, equipment, and materials to carry out their tasks. Ensure company policies and standards are maintained by all team members. Communication: Daily communication and collaboration with the owner to accomplish daily/weekly tasks. Quality Assurance: Monitor the progress of landscaping projects, conducting regular inspections to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations. You need to have the ability to healthily communicate errors effectively with the team. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members follow proper safety procedures and guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries. Should any injuries arise, report to owner immediately to fill out the accident report. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and proper use of landscaping equipment, ensuring regular inspections, repairs, and replacements as needed. Client Interaction: Maintain professional and positive communication with clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and providing updates on project progress. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that arise during project implementation, adapting plans as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
