Since announcing their retirement from Test cricket neither Kohli nor Rohit has featured in any international fixture. However Raina believes that their return particularly in the ODI format could significantly benefit the teamrsquos balance and confidence. According to Raina the value of Rohit and Kohlirsquos experience cannot be overstated. He pointed out that seasoned campaigners like them are essential for helping emerging talents such as Shubman Gill grow and perform under pressure. ldquoRohit and Viratrsquos experience is important. They can guide the young players. Shubman Gill needs players like Virat and Rohitrdquo Raina said during a recent interaction.
