Once the shock of Rieko Ioane’s Leinster sabbatical announcement settles down, rugby fans will start to fully appreciate what a blockbuster signing the All Black centre is. Ioane has 37 tries for his country in 87 caps and will join on a similar deal to fellow countryman Jordie Barrett after the November internationals, which includes a return to Soldier Field in Chicago for Ireland where Ioane and Barrett will likely face many of their Leinster teammates with New Zealand.
