Presenter Gabby Logan was told "that's a massive lie" by her son Reuben after the mum and son clashed over how often she has been in attendance at his rugby games in recent years. Reuben, 20, is set to join Sale Sharks next season as he looks set to follow in the footsteps of his dad, who had a distinguished career with Scotland and London Wasps. The younger Logan began his career with Northampton Saints before a stint on loan at Cambridge last season. During an episode of the Mid Point podcast Gabby welcomed her twin children onto the show - but she couldn't see eye to eye with Reuben over one thing . As the pair discussed how often Gabby had been to see him play over the last few years, Gabby said that she has been to half of his matches in the last year - but her son quickly called her out. He told listeners: "That's a lie folks, that's a massive lie." While Gabby instantly insisted that it wasn't a lie, Reuben stuck to his guns as he added: "Look, mum, I don't think you went to any Leicester Lions games." While he later conceded that she had been to some of his games during his stint playing for the Leicester Lions, he went back at his mum asking whether she had been at any of his games during his loan spell at Cambridge after he had joined in 2025. His mum said that she likely missed the games due to being part of the team covering the women's Six Nations . Finally drawing a line under the disagreement, Gabby added: "I'm not trying to win mum of the year. You know, we're all busy doing what we do." Meanwhile, Gabby was eager to congratulate her son on his recent career achievements after he had competed at the under-20's Six Nations Championship earlier this year, before completing his move to Sale Sharks in April. His twin sister Lois is also following in the family's sporting tradition as she is set to compete at the Markel Magnolia Cup horse race at the Qatar Goodwood Festival tomorrow (Thursday, July 31). The competition's previous winners include model Edie Campbell, broadcaster Sara Cox and podcaster Vogue Williams. Sporting genes run in the family as Gabby's dad (and Reuben and Lois' grandfather) is former Wales and Leeds footballer Terry Yorath. Away from her family life, Gabby has seen continued career success in recent years after being part of BBC and TNT Sports' coverage of major sporting events. In what is another milestone achievement for the presenter, she was announced as part of a new look trio of presenters on Match of the Day for the new season, beginning next month.
