Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a single vehicle collision involving a stolen car in Muff at the weekend.
The incident is believed to have occurred between approx. 5.15pm and 5.50pm on the Racecourse Road on Saturday.
The silver VW Golf involved in the collision was discovered on its roof at that location but no driver or passengers were at the scene.
The vehicle involved was reported to have been stolen from the area of the Craig Road in Muff before the collision occurred.
“We appeal to road users who have a dash-cam and who travelled within either of those areas between 5pm and 6pm on that date to make the footage available to Gardaí,” a garda spokesperson said.
If anybody witnessed the collision, they are asked to contact Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540. The Garda Confidential Line may also be contacted on 1800 666 111.
