Gary Barlow has teamed up with his rarely-seen daughter, Emily, for his new TV show, Gary Barlow's Food and Wine Tour: Australia . The Take That singer shares middle child Emily, eldest Daniel and youngest Daisy with his wife of 25 years, Dawn Andrews. And in a rare TV moment during the last episode of Gary's show , which begins on Friday, his daughter Emily and her boyfriend, Marshall, join the star in Queensland. The trio end up making their way through the rainforest on inflatable mattresses before taking a train through the local sights. "My daughter reluctantly agreed to be on the show. She said, 'I'll do it for you, dad.' And we ended up having the best time," Gary told The Mirror . And Emily isn't the only one of his kids to have been in the spotlight recently, with Gary's son Daniel going viral late last year for his tall stature compared to the rest of the family. While Gary stands at 5ft7, his eldest is 6ft2; with the difference very evident in a family photo that was shared last year - setting the internet ablaze with memes and viral videos. No stranger to a viral moment, Gary also found himself at the centre of social media jokes in April 2024 when he posted a clip to Instagram at a winery and beamed, "This is my idea of a very nice day out". The sound made its way across social media apps and saw many poking fun at Gary, who appears to have seen the funny side in his internet fame. "This really is my idea of a nice day out," says Gary during his new show while on the train in Queensland with Emily and Marshall, clearly poking fun at the trend. During the show, Gary also makes a reference to his time on the X Factor , which he served as a judge on from 2011 to 2013. Joined by Danni Minogue for one episode, the pair are seen spending time at a cricket ground before Gary tries his hand at brewing a coffee for Danni. "I don't like it, I love it," says Danni to a laughing Gary after trying the coffee, with the remark a reference to judge Simon Cowell's famous phrase on the show. While he may seem full of laughs on the show, Gary says it was nerve wracking swapping the stage for the screen in the ITV series. "I'm always nervous for things like this, it is different. "I'm not a presenter, I've never trained in that and I am in a presenter role for the show. So, I was nervous doing it. I know quite a bit about wine now too, but I don't want to come across as an expert because I'm not. "So, I approached this as a student. I'm learning and people at home will be learning too. We've got quite a fan base for the show now, so, I can't wait for them to see this new series." Gary Barlow's Food and Wine Tour: Australia begins on Friday at 2pm on ITV and ITVX.
