GCC Secretary General Welcomes Oman's Hosting of Iranian-American Talks

Riyadh, April 12 (QNA) - Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General, Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi welcomed the Sultanate of Oman’s hosting of talks between Iran and the United States.
In a statement issued Saturday, the GCC Secretary General stressed that Oman's hosting of these talks reflects its wise approach to promoting dialogue and building bridges of understanding among nations, as well as its continuous dedication to supporting and enhancing security and stability in the region.
Albudaiwi also noted that GCC countries consistently seek to find peaceful resolutions to conflicts through their strong and close relations with other nations, in addition to presenting initiatives that benefit the peoples of the region and the world.
"They strive to make every effort to promote regional and international peace and security," he added.
The GCC Secretary General expressed his hopes that these constructive talks will lead to positive results that would contribute to opening new avenues for cooperation between Iran and the US, serving the region's security and stability. (QNA)
