Ger Brennan has been appointed as Dublin’s new senior football manager for the next three seasons.
A two-time All-Ireland winner as a player with his county as well as his club, St Vincent’s, Brennan has now been tasked with the massive challenge of revitalising Dublin after two relatively fallow championships, both ending at the quarter-final stage.
