Geri Halliwell Horner drops biggest hint yet all five Spice Girls will reunite

Geri Horner has hinted that the Spice Girls are heading for a reunion with all five members featuring. The pop star has given fans hope that she will join former bandmates Emma Bunton , Melanie C , Victoria Beckham , and Mel B for a tour - despite her well publicised differences with Mel B. Geri, 52, has now confirmed she is on board to reform the band after Mel B shared her own enthusiasm for a tour. Speaking in a new interview Geri said: "My hope is we come back together as a collective. "It's more respectful to come as one. There will be something. We'll come as one. We love each other. I love them, I care about them, we want the best for each other. Talking to The Times she added: "We shared something so monumental. We've always believed in each other, had trust in each other, which is beautiful." Geri also confirmed that the girls have a group chat - but wouldn't divulge what it is called. Mel C has recently hinted that the Spice Girls could do something to celebrate the 30-year anniversary of their debut album, Spice, in 2026. The girls toured together in 2020 but only as a foursome as Victoria did not take part. The Spice Girls last performed together as a five-piece in 2012 for the opening ceremony of the London Olympics. Mel C told Rebecca Judd on Apple Music 1 earlier this month: "There has to be something befitting of 30 years since Wannabe. "Once a Spice Girl, always a Spice Girl. We all feel like that, but we now are getting together because we know if we’re going to do anything, we have to start planning things to get things right. We have to start making the plans right now and putting them into action. So fingers crossed." She added: "I think me and Mel B are probably going to be going in there all guns blazing, 'Come on! It’s time!'" Fans had believed that there may be no chance of another Spice Girls reunion after rumours of an ongoing feud between the members of the band. In November 2024 reports claimed that Geri had dropped out of a deal with Netflix for a biopic about the band which would have been highly lucrative for them making them around £1million each. At the time The Sun reported that the streaming giant had ordered the Spice Girls to make amends with one another and provide their input or they would make it without their approval, like they did with The Crown. A source told the publication: "Executives are keen to have all the group on board providing as much input as possible - after all they are pop royalty. But Netflix are the organisation who defied the wishes of real royalty and went ahead and made The Crown, so they aren't afraid to go it alone when they have to." During her latest interview, Geri, who releases her latest children’s book series Rosie Frost: Ice On Fire in April, also scotched suggestions she had changed her surname to Halliwell-Horner. Her marriage to Christian Horner, principal of the Red Bull Racing Formula One team, came under the spotlight when he was accused of inappropriate behaviour towards a female employee. He was cleared by an internal investigation and after a subsequent appeal, but the story resurfaced in recent weeks when it was covered in the latest series of Netflix’s Formula 1 : Drive To Survive. “We like playing games. We’re quite silly,” she said before dismissing the name change, saying Halliwell-Horner was her writing name. I haven’t legally changed anything – Horner is the name on my passport.” Like this story?
