The Ghana U16 Male National Team will commence a training camp on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the Glow Lamp Soccer Academy in Abreshia, Elmina, as part of preparations for the 7th Guadeloupe U-16 Invitational tournament set for May 25, 2025.A first batch of 30 players is scheduled to report at 2:00 pm on March 19, with a second group joining in April for an intensive pre-tournament training program.The team will be led by former Ghana international Nii Odartey Lamptey as Head Coach, with John Oppong Welbeck and Awudu Issaka serving as his assistants.The Guadeloupe U-16 Invitational will feature top youth teams from Mexico, France, Brazil, Ivory Coast, and Togo, offering Ghanas young talents valuable international exposure.This tournament serves as a key development platform for the squad, providing an opportunity to compete at a high level as they prepare for future international competitions.
