Giannis Antetokounmpo: Eastern Conference Player of the Week
The Milwaukee Bucks’ two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo earned the Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors for Week 24 with a jaw-dropping stat line of 36.0 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 13.7 assists per game, while leading the Bucks to a 3-0 record.
The "Nigerian Freak" continued to solidify his case as one of the league’s most dominant forces.
Earlier this season, he was named Player of the Week for Week 5, where he averaged a league-high 32.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 6.4 assists while shooting 60.8% from the field.
Kawhi Leonard: Western Conference Player of the Week
In the Western Conference, Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers was named Player of the Week for Week 24.
He averaged 24.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game, while guiding the Clippers to a perfect 4-0 record.
Leonard, a two-time NBA champion and Finals MVP, showcased his ability to impact both ends of the floor was crucial in the Clippers’ undefeated week.
