RAYE took to the Pyramid stage tonight (June 28), two years after making her first debut back in 2023. The R&B artist secured a prime-time spot on the main stage just a couple of hours before headliners Neil Young and Charli XCX. After being rolled onto the stage in a box, RAYE appeared in a stunning black dress that matched the elegance of her brass band and backing singers. She surprised fans by debuting a new single before her classic performances of Oscar Winning Tears and Ice Cream Man. Not to mention RAYE closing her set with hit single Escapism. The singer is no stranger to success as she's earned a whopping six Brit Awards at the 2024 ceremony including British Artist of the Year and received three Grammy nominations the same year. This isn't RAYE's first Glastonbury rodeo, as she made her debut on the very same stage back in 2023 after going independent from her music label. Her set followed on from Pulp who surprised fans by going under the name of Patchwork. They appeared on stage with the words "PULP SUMMER" written behind them. Moments into her impressive set that received high praise from viewers, fans made the same demand. Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter ), viewers requested for the singer to be featured on the soundtrack of the next James Bond film. The films have had voices such as Adele and Billie Eilish in the hit blockbuster movies. @argyle1886 wrote: "Raye needs to the next James Bond theme.
