Preparations are in full swing for the 19th edition of the Africa International Housing Show (AIHS), set to take place from July 27 to August 1, 2025, at the prestigious Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.Described as the largest and most influential housing and construction event on the continent, AIHS 2025 is poised to surpass all previous editions in scale, content, and global impact. This year, the 19th edition organized in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development will host a stellar lineup of top African leaders, Ministers from across the continent, Governors, Parliamentarians from countries including Nigeria and Ghana, Ambassadors, heads of key agencies and parastatals, international housing experts, presidents of professional bodies and high-level speakers from over 21 countries. According to a statement by the organisers, the event is expected to be officially declared open by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, marking a major show of commitment to addressing Africa’s housing and infrastructure needs. The convener of the show, Mr Festus Adebayo, expressed confidence that AIHS 2025 with the theme: ‘Reimagining Housing Through Innovation, Collaboration, and Policy’ will set a new benchmark in the housing and construction ecosystem, stating that “this platform remains the most reliable and result-driven avenue for transforming Africa’s housing narrative.” AIHS 2025 will once again bring together a dynamic mix of over 40,000 attendees, including developers, financiers, construction giants, building materials manufacturers, urban planners, and home seekers. With more than 400 exhibitors and 50 global thought leaders, the event has become the go-to destination for cutting-edge solutions, strategic partnerships, and real-time deal-making in the housing sector.
