Gloucester have signed forward Will Trenholm from Harlequins for the 2025-26 season.
The 24-year-old, who plays in the back row and has been with Harlequins since the age of 13, will join up with the Cherry and Whites this summer.
Trenholm says that Gloucester persuaded him to make the difficult choice to leave Harlequins.
"Having been at Harlequins for so long, it's a big change for me, but I'm looking forward to heading to Kingsholm this summer," he said., external
"Seeing what Gloucester are building and the exciting rugby they're playing, I'm buzzing to be a part of it and can't wait to get to work.
"Everyone knows about The Shed and the famous Kingsholm atmosphere, and it'll be a privilege to get out there in front of them."
Director of rugby George Skivington told BBC Radio Gloucestershire: "He's versatile, the right sort of age we are trying to recruit and he has lots of experience already.
"He feels that a change of scenery will help him kick on. He is hungry to get better and is a really exciting addition.
"He knows how exciting a place this is to play. He has been at Quins since he was a kid, it is a big move for him but he will be embraced here and will rip into it."
