'Good Player But Can't See...': England Star's Big Prediction After Rishabh Pant Suffers Nasty Injury
@Source: news18.com
Rishabh Pant ended up hurting himself for the second Test in a row but this time, the injury has raised major concerns over his participation in the remainder of the ongoing contest in Manchester between India and England. Pant attempted a reverse sweep of Chris Woakes and ended up being hit on his right boot following which he was wheeled off the field in a buggy.
Pant looked in significant pain with his left foot swollen. He has been taken for scans, and the BCCI medical team is monitoring his progress.
England spinner Liam Dawson feels that the injury doesn’t appear to be minor and doesn’t see the wicketkeeper-batter playing any further role in the 4th Test.
“Yeah, obviously thoughts with him (Pant). The injury didn’t look great. Hope he’s alright. A very good player but can’t see him taking much part in the rest of the game,” Dawson told media during an interaction after the end of play on Day 1.
