Greg Taylor’s Celtic exit CONFIRMED as defender seals free transfer to new club after six trophy-laden years

GREG TAYLOR has officially left Celtic and joined a new club.
The defender made 216 appearances and scored nine goals in his six-year stay at Parkhead.
Taylor has signed for Greek outfit PAOK and will start a new chapter of his career in Greece.
The third-placed Super League side emerged as contenders for the Scotland international's signature at the end of last month, drawing up a two-year deal with an option for a further 12 months.
Brendan Rodgers had been hopeful of keeping Taylor in Glasgow beyond the expiry of his contract, but instead he'll move to the Europa League qualifiers.
Taylor was on the books of Rangers in his youth career, before being released and signing for Kilmarnock.
He made his senior debut at Rugby Park and stayed in the first team there for three years before Celts signed him for £1million on transfer deadline day in 2019.
The 27-year-old was signed to replace Arsenal-bound Kieran Tierney, who will now in turn take Taylor's place at left-back as he returns to Glasgow this summer.
Taylor won the Scttish Premiership title in five of his six seasons with Celtic, also adding three Scottish Cups and three League Cups in that time.
The Greenock native was also named in the 2022/23 PFA Scotland Team of the Year.
He also won all but one of his 14 Scotland caps during his time at Parkhead.
Rodgers had admitted back in March that it was unlikely he could convince the defender to stay, despite his appreciation of him on and off the field.
Rodgers had said: "My idea was always to keep Greg and it still is.
"But I’ve been in this position so many times and I can read situations.
"It’s probably more likely now that Greg will move on than stay, which is a big shame for me because I love him as a person.
"And I love his game because it’s suited to how we work.
"It’s not financial but I respect his position because he wants to feel he’ll play every week."
