India has become a major hotspot for international artists and bands, with Coldplay, Cigarettes After Sex, Green Day, Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran and many others performing here in the last few months. Now, the legendary rock band Guns N’ Roses is all set to return to India after 12 years, further solidifying India’s booming live music scene. The band will be performing in Mumbai on 17th May 2025, as part of their Asia tour, and they shared the announcement on social media. On Tuesday, Guns N’ Roses announced that they will be performing in India in May. They took to their social media, and wrote, “We’re coming to India! This is going to be special.” The band will be performing in Mumbai at the Mahalakshmi Racecourse on May 17, 2025. Tickets will be available to Kotak Mahindra Credit Card customers on March 17, Monday, from 12 pm IST, while the sale for general tickets will go live on March 19, Wednesday, from 4 pm IST on BookMyShow. Currently, the online ticketing platform shows the tickets priced from Rs 4499 onwards, however, it might change as the bookings begin. One can buy up to 10 tickets per person, and all ticket categories are subject to availability. It is a completely standing show, and different ticket categories include ‘General Admission’ tickets, ‘VIP’ tickets, as well as ‘Kotak Solitaire Lounge and Platinum Lounge’ tickets. While one fan commented, “Just when I thought nothing can top Greenday this year!!!” another one commented, “2025 is the year!!!” A third fan jokingly wrote, “still broke from green day.” This marks Guns N’ Roses’ second concert in India. Their first performance took place back in 2012. The members of Guns N’ Roses are Axl Rose (vocals, piano), Duff McKagan (bass) and Slash (lead guitar). They are expected to perform some of their hit songs such as Welcome To The Jungle, Sweet Child o’ Mine, November Rain, Paradise City, Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door, among many others.
