The postseason is right around the corner in girls soccer, and the brackets have been revealed to show the path teams will have to take to get to the state final in East Lansing. Here are the matchups for Jackson-area teams. Jackson will take on Western in a pre-district game at the Panther Bowl May 21, a rematch of a 10-2 Panthers win May 10. The winner of that game heads to Marshall to take on either Marshall or Coldwater in the district semifinal. In that same district Northwest will take on Tecumseh at Northwest. The winner of that game faces Adrian. In a pre-district game May 21, Michigan Center will welcome Hillsdale to the Seventh Street Field. The winner of that game moves on to face Olivet or Pennfield at Quincy. On the other side of that district bracket Springport heads to Quincy for a pre-district. That winner moves on to face Columbia Central. Stockbridge will take on Greenhills at Greenhills for a pre-district game. Meanwhile Grass Lake welcomes Onsted to Stoker Field for their own pre-district. The Stockbridge-Greenhills winner takes on the Grass Lake-Onsted winner. That district also sees Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard take on Pinckney, with the winner facing Milan. District semifinals and finals will be at Milan. Defending Division 4 state champion Lumen Christi opens its title defense with a home pre-district game against Bronson. That winner takes on either Jonesville or Calhoun Christian, as the Comets travel to Battle Creek for their own pre-district. Elsewhere in that district Hanover-Horton visits Jackson Christian in a pre-district game. That winner takes on Leslie. The district semifinal and final will be at Lumen Christi. In a district hosted by Lenawee Christian, Napoleon will take on Stockwell Prep in a pre-district, with the winner moving on to face Manchester in the district semifinal. The other side of that district bracket sees Lenawee Christian face Livingston Christian and Clinton face Blissfield.
