Ola Electric has officially announced the rollout of its latest software, MoveOS 5, designed for the S1 range of scooters and the recently launched Roadster X motorcycles. The new software aims to boost performance, reliability, and overall range, marking a significant upgrade for the company’s electric vehicles. In a statement, a spokesperson for Ola Electric emphasised the company’s commitment to innovation, stating, "MoveOS 5 is a testament to our ongoing dedication to evolution and enhancing our products. It aims to provide a riding experience that is not only more personalised but also more robust, efficient, and future-ready.” The new software is particularly powerful on the Gen 3 platform, with enhancements made to the in-house motor control unit. These upgrades are expected to improve the range while delivering a more refined and responsive riding experience. Starting this week, the MoveOS 5 software will be available to all S1 and Roadster X models through an over-the-air (OTA) update, bringing the latest technological advancements directly to customers’ devices.
