Hilarious moment Boris Johnson is attacked by an OSTRICH during safari trip as his wife admits footage was 'too funny not to share'

Boris Johnson has had to fend off his fair share of attacks during his controversial tenure as Britain's Prime Minister.
Most were in the form of barbed comments from his political rivals in parliament, or in stinging critiques by journalists.
But now the former PM has come under fire from an unlikely source - a ravenous 7ft ostrich who bullied 'Bojo' during a family safari trip in Texas.
In hilarious footage filmed by his wife Carrie that was 'too funny not to share', Johnson is hit by the nippy end of the large bird after coxing it towards his car.
The former MP had tempted the long-necked feathered animal with food, while his four-year-old son, Wilfred, giggled adorably on his lap.
But instead of pecking at the food, the hungry creature strikes out at Johnson, stunning the retired Tory leader.
'Oh Christ, f***ing hell,' yells the former incumbent of 10 Downing Street as he appears to hastily accelerate his car away from the animal.
Wife Carrie seemingly showed little sympathy her 60-year-old husband, sharing the candid family clip in Instagram with the caption: 'Too funny not to share.'
The couple, who have three children – Wilfred, four, Romy, three, and Frank, one – are on holiday in America's 'Lone Star State'.
More posts showed the Johnsons feeding deer and other animals out of their car windows, with more success than they had with the ostrich.
Mrs Johnson added it 'was all going so well until…'
The former PM has a knack for finding himself at the centre of gaffes.
In August 2012, during his time as the Mayor of London, he famously got stuck on a zip wire while celebrating Team GB's first Olympic gold medal.
Carrying a pair of small union flags, the London mayor was left awkwardly dangling in the air for several minutes until he was rescued.
Three years later, in October 2015, Johnson was filming clumsily knocking a 10-year-old boy to the floor during a friendly game of rugby in Japan.
And the ex-PM has previously shown his fighting spirit, taking to the ring in a London boxing club during his time as mayor.
Donning a shirt and tie, Johnson was seen hitting pads and sparring with young pugilists at the Fight For Peace Academy in North Woolwich.
Despite not being naturally light on his feet, members cheered and applauded as Johnson pulled no punches wearing his red boxing gloves.
Johnson became PM in July 2019, succeeding Theresa May.
He resigned in September 2022 following a mass revolt by ministers over his leadership, sparked by scandals including Partygate.
