You LITERALLY have Disneyland fireworks at 9 pm and Knott's Berry Farm Fireworks at 9:30 directly overhead! WHY?????? skybird659 (1) Funniest 3 hours ago neapoi: I bought, and lit, an m1000 I got in Mexico as a teenager. It was basically a half stick of dynamite. Yeah, we used to get 1/4 sticks in Tijuana all the time when I was a kid. No one ever blew anything body parts off. We started out young with Black Cat firecrackers blowing up plastic green army men and understood "Bang! Kablooey!" Even as older teens, we knew to build a small fire on the gravel and stand on the roof to toss Bic (and Cricket) lighters down in the fire to go bang. cherryl taggart (3) Funniest 2 hours ago Our neighbors think we're weird for setting up our fireworks on our driveway, about 12 feet from our water hose. With a 5 gallon bucket of sand on standby as well. We get our stuff from a commercial retailer, so of course our stuff is 90% big sparklers only. But embers burn and the launchers get super hot, so out comes our precautions. Our neighbors, OTOH, have scorch marks all over their property and scars from drifting embers and trying to aim stuff or pick up stuff while drunk. No sympathy for idiot neighbors. Hope the family of the little dead girl get justice. (0) Funniest less than a minute ago God damn, that's one hell of an ambulance stock photo (0) Funniest less than a minute ago The place where I live makes fireworks illegal. I was just thinking what could possibly go correct? And bam, just like that a child died. Why do we have laws? Nobody knows.
