This is the terrifying moment a 'monster' alligator left golfers stunned after interrupting their day on the golf course in South Carolina.
The shocking scenes unfolded on a tee box at Kiawah Island's Ocean Course, which has hosted many major championships, and as recently as 2021.
This time, though, it wasn't pro golfers the locals were rushing to film on their mobile phones, but instead a huge alligator that appeared out of nowhere.
In a remarkable clip posted on X, the creature can be seen walking right across the tee box - bringing the players' $600 round of golf to a halt.
Alongside the clip, the post read: 'My buddy sent me this. They literally walked right by him and then he crossed over the tee box behind them. Crazy.
'I know they are technically not interested in eating us. But I'm still not sure I want to tempt fate.'
Insane crocodile at the Kiawah Ocean Course! Props to the cameraman for getting close.
For a $600 green fee, you not only get to shoot a 103, but you get to meet this specimen!

Quickly, the comments section was filled with golfers who had experienced similar unnerving situations at the Kiawah Island course - including one remarkable shot of a bloodied alligator following a 'turf war' with a rival.
Back in 2021, the same course hosted the PGA Championship, which was won in remarkable fashion by Phil Mickelson.
During the tournament, there were also a few sightings of alligators on the property - with the presence of thousands of fans leaving the creatures undeterred.
Thankfully, nobody was harmed through the duration of the four-day major tournament, despite fans lining every inch of the course to catch a glimpse of their favorite players.
Back in 2020, though, a woman was killed by an alligator on Kiawah Island, after reportedly trying to touch the animal.
The incident occurred near a pond on Salt Cedar Lane, when Cynthia Covert was pulled under the water by the alligator after her friend had thrown her a rope in an attempt to save her.
