The Orlando Pride look to get back on the winning track when they host the Kansas City Current under the lights in National Women’s Soccer League action on Friday night. The Current burst out of the gates, winning each of its first five matches of the 2025 season. However, the team stumbled a little bit, losing a pair of road matches to the North Carolina Courage and Seattle Reign, briefly bringing down optimism. However, the good vibes returned on home soil this past Sunday as KC hammered Bay FC, 4-1. While the Current are dominant at home, sitting as the only NWSL team to still be undefeated at home so far, they have not been as strong on the road, splitting their first four away contests. The defending champions are seeking their first win in three weeks. The Pride started their title defense wins in four straight games. However, the team has struggled to find consistency, losing on the road to the Portland Thorns earlier this month before settling for a draw with the Courage last Saturday.
