How to watch Fluminense vs Chelsea: TV channel and live stream for Club World Cup semi-final today
@Source: standard.co.uk
Chelsea will play for a place in the Club World Cup finals today as they face Fluminense in a semi-final bout.
It is another meeting with Brazilian opposition for the Blues, who edged past Palmeiras 2-1 last time out, though that may provide some home comfort for new forward signing Joao Pedro.
Chelsea will be reunited with their former captain Thiago Silva in the tie.
Now 40 years old, the centre-back is widely considered a Chelsea legend for the role he played in the club’s Champions League-winning 2020-21 campaign.
Fluminense pulled off a shock knockout in the round of 16 as they dumped Inter Milan out of the Club World Cup, winning 2-0 with goals from German Cano and Hercules.
They went on to take down Al-Hilal in the quarter-finals after the Saudi outfit upset Manchester City in the round of 16.
The tie’s winner will face either Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain in the Club World Cup final.
